Crazy 'Bout You Just The Same is a rootsy laid back ballad and having taken several listens to the track, I get the feeling that it could have come from another era altogether. The highlight for me on Saturday, in terms of performances, was to witness Gordon Wood from Cheltenham in action, as he ran through a handful of self penned songs including Sweet Angel Eyes, Run Johnny Run, The Girl with the Stars in Her Eyes and my favourite Midnight Rodeo - which Gordon allowed us to cover ourselves back in the days of "Silurian". G.W. has got to be the best songwriter I know on the local/regional scene, with the uncanny knack of writing catchy tunes and showing the younger generation how it's done, boosted on the day with his son on bass guitar and a new pair of brown suede shoes!
